Students will get familiar with cloud storage, how to create a OneDrive account, set up OneDrive on their mobile devices, and manage their profiles and notifications. This course will introduce the students to the OneDrive app and its uses. OneDrive is also available for mobile devices. Users will log in to their OneDrive accounts with their Microsoft account to store and access their data online.

It is the default save location for files in Windows 10, providing a place where users can put their files on the internet. OneDrive is an essential part of the Office suite presented by Microsoft. A Microsoft account also includes Office Online, as well as other online. It allows users to store and protect their files, share them with people they want, and access those files from any web browser and any device. Once you have an account, you can access your own personal OneDrive storage space. If possible, apply changes before a weekend or during non-peak hours to allow time for the change to propagate and not interfere with your users' work.OneDrive is Microsoft’s cloud-based online storage platform. If you're changing many UPNs within your organization, make the UPN changes in batches to manage the load on the system. Similarly, any SharePoint apps (including Power Apps) that reference a OneDrive URL will need to be updated after a UPN change. SharePoint automated workflows and customizationsĪny automated workflows that were created with Power Automate or SharePoint 2013 workflows and refer to a OneDrive URL will not work after a UPN change. Open a notebook in OneNote for Windows Recent files listsĪfter a UPN change, users will need to browse to re-open active OneDrive files in their new location. If the user's UPN contains an underscore, it will be present in the resultant OneDrive URL.
